Scouts
Scouts meet for up to two hours, once a week on Tuesdays.
During their meetings, Scouts do a variety of activities, which can include anything from learning how to wire a plug to orienteering, or from practicing First Aid skills to playing wide games outdoors.
Our Scouts regularly get involved in District-wide events such as competitions, courses or camps.
Everything they do counts towards the achievements and skills needed to complete their Chief Scout's Gold Award.
On camps and outings, we encourage our Scouts to think for themselves, helping them to develop a sense of independence and self confidence.
At age 14, our Scouts have the opportunity to join a local Explorers section (14 to 18 years), where they can participate in the Young Leader Scheme and devote their time to assisting with another section.
